39th Conference of National Association of Perinatal Social Workers

The Menard Family Foundation is one of the sponsors of this annual gathering of perinatal social workers.  The 39th Annual Conference was held in beautiful Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada.  Social Workers from hospitals and social service agencies all across Canada and the United States gathered to receive education and input on current issues in the field.  The NAPSW Award for Excellence was bestowed on Mary Denato, friend and co-chair with Director Barbara J. Menard of the NAPSW conference held in San Francisco in 2011.  The “night out” activity featured a dinner cruise and tour of the harbor around the city.  There was time for sightseeing including a brisk walk around Stanley Park and a view of the gardens.
