Members of Menard Family Foundation gathered at the Harbor Island Sheridan Hotel for the 49th Annual Scripps Mercy Ball on Saturday, April 22nd. This gala was the first in-person Mercy Ball since the 2020 ball which was the last social event before the world-wide pandemic lockdown. Attendees dressed for the occasion and were treated to cocktails and hors d’oeuvres on the patio followed by a delicious dinner and dancing in a beautifully decorated partially open venue. Speakers included Scripps CEO Chris van Gorder, Scripps Senior Director of Development John Engel, and Scripps Mercy Foundation Director Julie Matthews. Mercy Chaplain Reverend Kizito Ndugbu offered the opening prayer for the evening and joined the MFF table along with Directors Catherine Scanlon and her husband Mark, Marlene Miller and her husband Bruce, Barbara Menard, and Mark Zangrando, Senior Director of Mission for Scripps Mercy, Craig Smith, and Msgr. Mark Campbell.
