A large gathering of Alumnae of the Sacred Heart along with partners and friends of the Sacred Heart met on Sunday September 11, 2022 at La Gran Terraza restaurant on the campus of the University of San Diego. Director Barbara Menard along with several classmates from Convent of the Sacred Heart, El Cajon enjoyed the wine reception, dinner and live auction. The event benefits the Sisters at the Oakwood Retirement Community and scholarships for students from Sacred Heart schools to attend USD. Barbara was seated with one of the students and learned how she and her family migrated to the United States and how she learned from her Sacred Heart education.
