For the 12th year, Casa Cornelia Law Center hosted the Annual La Mancha Awards Celebration at the University of San Diego. Menard Family Foundation Board of Directors Catherine Scanlon and her husband Mark, Marlene Miller and her husband Bruce, and Barbara Menard and her husband Jim Ogilvie joined the assembled guests and sponsors for the event.

The Distinguished Pro Bono Attorney of the Year was awarded to Nancy G. Aeling, Esq. Wilson Sonsini Goodrich & Rosati was the Pro Bono Law Firm of the Year. The Lucy Howell La Mancha Humanitarian Award was presented to Hon. Judge Dana M. Sabraw. In 2018, the Law Center responded to 2,287 persons from 64 nations speaking 49 languages through their: Asylum Program; Unaccompanied Minors Program; and Victims of Crime Program. Casa Cornelia Law Center had 535 volunteers who donated 23,500 hours of service and the Pro Bono Program trained 179 volunteer attorneys along with 34 volunteer interpreters and translators to support its work.
