Christian Community Theater’s 7th Annual production was held at the Lincoln Center for the Performing Arts. This year’s theme was “San Diego Follies Goes Hollywood,” a musical/dance review of some of the Hollywood Blockbusters through the years! This spectacular production features seniors ages 55+ performing a wide range of dance numbers, solos, duets, instrumentals, comedy routines, and more! Impersonators included Mae West and W.C. Fields, Bob Hope, John Wayne, Carmen Miranda, and Jimmy Durante. The featured movies covered famous Musicals, Westerns, Disney movies including villains, Romantic themes, a USO show and Rock and Roll songs, Sports movies and films with a Spiritual theme. Director Barbara Menard was seen in a number of sections and was featured in a duet with Jim Ogilvie singing “When You Wish Upon a Star.”
