The Fr. John LoSchiavo, SJ Center For Science and Innovation was dedicated at the University of San Francisco on Friday, September 27, 2013.  Menard Family Foundation Director Barbara Menard and USF Alumna was in attendance along with civic and university dignitaries, donors and friends of the university.  In the words of Fr. Stephen A. Privett, SJ, “the LoSchiavo Science was created to promote hands-on teaching and learning as an integral part of the arts and sciences core of a Jesuit education.  This unique and cutting-edge facility lays the foundation for supporting the next generation of science innovation in the Bay Area, the nation, and the world.”  The Menard Family Foundation funded an interactive learning center in this new center as well as a bench in the patio area.
