Have you ever wondered what Sigmund Freud and C.S. Lewis would discuss if they met? The play Freud’s Last Session performed at Lamb’s Players Theater provides an opportunity to experience this event. Director Barbara Menard and Jim Ogilvie attended the play on opening night, April 17, 2015. They joined Director Deborah Gilmour Smyth, actors Robert Smyth and Fran Gercke, and the Lamb’s creative team on Sunday, April 19th to explore the background of this play by Mark St. Germain. Suggested by The Question of God by Armand Nicholi, the play presents a fictional meeting between Sigmund Freud and C.S. Lewis in wartime London. They share a humorous and fascinating conversation about love, God, sex and death in a well portrayed dialogue that draws attendees to ponder the deeper questions of life and meaning.
