Lamb’s Players Theater is celebrating 25 years in Coronado and almost 50 years of theater in San Diego. It is one of San Diego’s leading professional non-profit performing arts organizations, presenting a variety of work year-round in their resident theatre in Coronado. They also have an Educational Outreach program touring to schools across the county. The Mission of Lamb’s is “To Tell Good Stories Well.” They look for stories that probe and question the values and choices of contemporary culture; that celebrate the joys, strengths and diverse traditions of family and community; that explore the spiritual dimension of the human experience; that champion the moral imagination.

In 1993 they restored the old theatre space in Coronado’s historic 1917 Spreckels Building back to its original intended use. It is now a vibrant performance space, with European amphitheater style seating around a thrust stage, with uninterrupted sight lines and no seat more than 7 rows from the stage. Menard Family Foundation is pleased to support Lamb’s Players Theater and its Community Outreach Program.
