The Annual Matthew 25: A Celebration of Faith in Action was held on Thursday, November 16, 2016 at the University of San Diego. Barbara J. Menard and Jim Ogilvie attended as guests of the Scripps Mercy Hospital table. The event begins with Eucharist in Founder’s Chapel followed by dinner and the award ceremony in University Center. The evening honors men and women from Catholic parishes from around the Catholic diocese who embody the compassionate service described in chapter 25 of the Gospel of St. Matthew. There were honorees from nineteen Catholic parishes, four Catholic high schools and the University of San Diego.
