The annual San Diego Zoo Wildlife Alliance Founder’s Circle Dinner was held on Wednesday, May 17, 2023, in the Elephant Odyssey party area. There were animal encounters during the cocktail hour and the ambassador beaver decided she wanted to explore the party and kept escaping from her mat. After a delicious dinner David Gillig, Director of Development, provided an update on Zoo events. This was followed by a presentation from Wildlife Ambassadors who are working in the field in the areas of Amazonia, Savanah, and Oceans. Each staff shared their research with leopards, cougars, and polar bears. The evening concluded with a leisurely bus ride back to the Zoo’s entrance with dialogue about the summer schedule.
