Director Barbara J. Menard was a co-chair for the Annual Tea by the Sea to benefit St. Madeleine Sophie’s Center along with Maureen King.  This luncheon with silent auction is held at the beautiful Marine Room overlooking the Pacific Ocean.  The Menard Family Foundation hosted a table and Directors Marlene Miller and Catherine Scanlon joined with family and friends to share in this lovely gathering.  The delicious luncheon included: hors d’oeuvres of Maine lobster bisque, goat cheese puff, and pine nut date bars; an organic little red gem lettuce salad; an array of finger sandwiches; and a choice of hibiscus lemon tart, winterberry vanilla genoise, and chocolate coffee joconde for dessert.  There were speeches including a student who shared her joy at being part of St. Madeleine Sophie’s Center.
