St. Martin de Porres School celebrated their Spring Gala and St. Patrick’s Day on March 16, 2013 with a benefit for the Tuition Assistance Fund held at the Flood Mansion of the Schools of The Sacred Heart in San Francisco, CA. Barbara J. Menard joined the festivities that included wine tasting and hors d’oeuvres. Entertainment was provided by the St. Martin de Porres musicians and choir along with famed mezzo-soprano Frederica von Stade. The honoree for the evening was Fr. Aiden McAleenan, Pastor of St. Columba Church, Oakland, CA.
St. Martin de Porres School serves the families of North and West Oakland and beyond by providing a multi-racial, multi-ethnic and multi-cultural K-8 educational experience.
