Directors Barbara J. Menard and Marlene Miller represented the Menard Family Foundation at the annual University of San Diego Founder’s Gala. The Founder’s Gala, named in honor of founders Bishop Charles Francis Buddy and Mother Rosalie Clifton Hill, is the University of San Diego’s signature fundraising event. Proceeds from the evening benefit the Founders’ Endowed Scholarship Fund, which helps ensure that the most promising undergraduate, graduate and law students can experience a USD education. The evening included a reception with the new USD President, James T. Harris III and his wife Mary. The Gala Reception and Silent Auction was set up in a tent outside of the Jenny Craig Pavilion. Dinner, Program, Live Auction, Fund-A-Torero, and After Party were help in the beautifully transformed Jenny Craig Pavilion. An amazing array of silent and live auction items were available. Xiomara I. Galindo, a two-time Emmy Award-winning host was the master of ceremonies for the evening.
